My first interaction with Amanda was over the phone to discuss her wedding florals. I could hear the excitement in her voice as we talked details. As a florist, I always want my brides to feel happy about these details - not stressed. Just leave the floral planning to me and when the wedding day comes, show up, get married and enjoy the beauty!
The color palette for the day was blush and ivory. Mixed with romantic eucalyptus greenery, the look is a classic for southern brides. Roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, and dahlias everywhere! We chose blush chiffon ribbon to hang from the bridal bouquet. All of these details are so timeless and elegant!
Before I arrived at the venue to set up, I drove to the condo where Amanda and her bridesmaids were getting ready. It's seriously my favorite to see the brides reaction to her flowers! I love that every bridal bouquet is unique and specific to each bride. That perfect cafe au lait dahlia in the middle, was JUST for Amanda. She was thrilled with the florals and even teared up a bit. That's when I know I've done my job!
Arriving at the Craft Farm Golf Resort was like a dream. The rolling green hills decorating the drive up to the venue gave such a sense of awe. I could imagine my own wedding day and the excitement Amanda must feel as she would approach this venue clothed in the white gown she'd always dreamed of wearing.
On site, I was met by Maranda with Jubilee Events and Design. Already the dining area was stunning with china, glassware, and gold flatware. The centerpieces added just the perfect amount of elegance. On site, I arranged the florals on the arbor and added florals to the cake.
FIRST LOOK: Okay, we all know this is THE best part ever. When the groom finally get to see his bride! She was so stunning!!! Amanda strolled across the lawn, bouquet in hand, to meet Seth and lightly tapped him on the shoulder. Their eyes welled up with joyful tears and that was how the rest of the day went. Lots of happy tears! You could just see the love they had for each other and the way they adored one another.
